Hi, I’m Andrea, and like many of you, I’ve been on a long journey to reclaim my life from the chaos of trauma and dysfunction. For years, I was caught in the cycle of generational trauma—struggling to break free, yet feeling constantly pulled back in. I overcompensated in every area of my life, hoping to protect my children from the same pain I had known, only to realize that no matter how hard I tried, some things were out of my control.

Broken Insanity was born from this deep desire to heal, not just for myself but for others like me who feel trapped in patterns that seem impossible to break. It’s a space for recovery, reflection, and growth—a place where we do the hard work of healing together, without labels or judgments.

Where We’ve Been – Overcoming the Darkness

I’ve been through the kind of emotional storms that knock you off your feet. Abandonment, loss, and strained relationships have been a constant theme in my life, especially the pain of feeling distanced from my own children. The hardest part of my journey was accepting that, despite everything I tried, I couldn’t control how others responded to my struggles.

But Broken Insanity is about more than just surviving the storm. It’s about finding ways to rebuild—brick by brick, day by day. I’ve learned that true recovery means accepting your past without letting it dictate your future. It’s about using tools like journaling, self-reflection, and community support to navigate the pain and come out stronger.

Broken Insanity is more than just a community; it’s a movement. We’re creating a space where people can truly heal without the weight of judgment or societal expectations. We’re headed toward a future where recovery isn’t just about surviving but thriving. Our vision is to provide tools, resources, and support for those who are serious about reclaiming their lives from trauma, addiction, and emotional pain.

Through daily journaling prompts, self-care tools, habit tracking, and group support, we’re building a community where everyone is welcome to participate in their own way. Whether you want to keep things private or share your story with others, you’ll find a place here. We’re breaking the chains of generational trauma and chaos—together.

Why Broken Insanity – A Space for Real Recovery

This isn’t just another online group or forum. Broken Insanity is a space built around deep reflection, real tools for self-discovery, and a community of people who understand what it means to feel broken. But we’re not staying broken. We’re here to recover—on purpose, without judgment, and without shame.

I’ve walked this path, and I know the weight of trying to hold everything together when it feels like you’re falling apart. But the truth is, we can’t do it alone. That’s why this community exists: to provide the support, tools, and encouragement needed to move forward, day by day.
